Learn Ecosystem Through Hands-on Experience
Scuba Scape is an augmented reality swim goggles. Children wear the mask while swimming in a pool and the device projects a view of ocean life. Users can download a variety of games. Here we can teach children about environmental issues. Children can understand what is going on in the ecosystem through hands-on experience, as they are physically moving and playing.

Research on influence of Digital Technology on Children
I mapped out the dichotomy between positive and negative impact of digital technology in a child’s cognitive development. By mixing and matching and capitalizing on the positive impacts, we can design digital products that address and mitigate the potential negative impacts, all to the benefit of children.
It is an attachment that can be applied to any scuba mask.
1) Users can download a variety of games. This is one of potential games that can be played.
2) Users first choose a region of water where they want to explore.
3) And then users see a list of habitats around the region. When a player find a animal from the list, It tells the user a story about this particular animal.
Impact of the Product
As they are swimming and hunting around. They can see colorful coral becoming bleached.
Also, endangered animals like sea turtles are difficult to find. Here we can teach children about environmental issues. Children can understand what is going on in the ecosystem through hands-on experience, as they are physically moving and playing.
